Our Values

Sustainability: We believe it is imperative to do what we can to combat global climate change for the sake of our planet, our children, and humanity. We partner with brands who have similar values and prioritize sustainable practices. We also advocate shopping secondhand when possible.

Ethical production: All humans deserve fair wages and safe working conditions. We value working with brands who have transparency regarding their labor and production practices.

Social justice: We believe small businesses can play a meaningful role in supporting social and economic justice efforts locally and beyond. Whenever we can, the shop contributes to nonprofit organizations, community fundraisers, and pays monthly Real Rent to Real Rent Duwamish.

Community Support

From 2023 through 2025, we donated a percentage of every purchase to social justice organizations on a rotating quarterly basis.

We believe small businesses can make a meaningful impact and remain committed to supporting nonprofit organizations and mutual aid efforts we care about whenever possible.

We previously used ShoppingGives and have chosen to transition away from the platform so that our giving can remain sustainable for our small business.

Nonprofits we have supported:

  • Mary's Place
  • Rainier Valley Food Bank
  • Palestine Children's Relief Fund
  • World Central Kitchen

Land Acknowledgment

We would like to acknowledge that we conduct business in the unceded ancestral lands of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe. We are proud to pay Real Rent on a monthly basis.

Please take a moment to sign this petition for Federal Recognition of the Duwamish Tribe. If you are located in Seattle, please also consider paying Real Rent to the Duwamish Tribe on a monthly basis. Use Native Land Digital to learn more about Indigenous history in your area.
